The RWPCS Dance Program is designed to develop personal and artistic awareness in students. Dance students will receive high-quality instruction in the areas of classical ballet, modern dance, improv, and theatre production.
The mission of Richard Wright Public Charter Schools for Journalism and Media Arts is to transform students in grades 8-12 into well-versed media contributors by providing a student-centered environment that connects them to the classics and modern languages and a curriculum focused on strong writing skills and vocabulary.

RWPCS will provide each scholar with the most nutritional meals possible, provide nutrition education and encourage physical activities to improve the overall health of our scholars.
