Richard Wright Public Charter School is totally committed to your child’s academic success! Yearly, our students are mandated to take the District of Columbia Comprehensive Assessment System (DC-CAS). The students testing cycle begins Tuesday, April 23, 2013 through Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Please find the scheduled testing per each grade below.
It is our desire that your son or daughter receives the maximum opportunity to succeed. Therefore, please
encourage your child/children to go to bed early during the testing period and to arrive at school by 7:45am – 8:15am to eat a hearty breakfast.
It is crucial that your child is present no later than 8am each day for this mandated state assessment. Also please note, student dismissal during the DC-CAS is at 1:30pm.
We also ask you not to schedule and appointments or early dismissals for your son/daughter between the hours of 8 am – 1:30pm during the DC-CAS testing. If you have any questions please call Mrs. Williams, at 202.388.1011 ext. 124.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
